AerCap has signed a sale and leaseback agreement for one new Boeing 787-9 aircraft with TAAG Angola Airlines (DT), announced on December 27, 2024.

This aircraft is scheduled to be delivered to the national carrier of Angola in February 2025, marking AerCap as the first lessor to introduce the 787 to TAAG.
