The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and the Kenya Association of Air Operators (KAAO) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in March 2023 to cooperate on advancing Kenya’s airline industry.

Under the framework of the collaboration, AFRAA and KAAO aim to cooperate for the mutual benefit of their membership and industry in up to seven areas of action, including Data and Intelligence; Training; Initiatives on Persons with Disabilities; and CSR initiatives and events.

“We are keen to leverage learnings from AFRAA as they have a pan-African view of the opportunities and challenges faced by the air transport industry, in Africa of which Kenya’s robust and dynamic aviation sector forms a significant part of this eco-system.”
