Air Arabia Launches Non-Stop Flights to Ethiopia  

Sharjah-Addis Ababa service starts January 30, 2025 with 3X weekly flights

Air Arabia has announced the launch of its new non-stop flights to Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia.

The new service will connect Sharjah International Airport with Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, starting January 30, 2025, with a frequency of three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, commented on this development, saying, “By expanding our destinations from Sharjah, we aim to boost trade and tourism while continuing to offer affordable and convenient travel options to our customers.

  • Flight G9 738: Departs Sharjah at 21:25, arrives Addis Ababa at 00:40, operated by Airbus A320 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
  • Flight G9 739: Departs Addis Ababa at 01:30, arrives Sharjah at 06:40, operated by Airbus A320 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
