Air Belgium introduced direct flights to South Africa, starting September 14, 2022, offering twice-weekly Brussels  – Johannesburg O.R. Tambo –  Cape Town service with Airbus A330neo. The launch of the commercial partnership between Air Belgium (KF) and Airlink (4Z) enables passengers to connect to thirty-eight destinations served by Airlink, in South Africa and regionally – in countries including Angola, Botswana, D.R Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

“The timing could not be better for Air Belgium to enter the market with Brussels Airport as a central gateway to Europe, and Johannesburg and Cape Town ensuring reciprocity. It is therefore with great pleasure that we enter into this commercial partnership and welcome Air Belgium to South Africa and Airlink’s comprehensive network of destinations in Southern Africa. Rodger Foster, CEO, Airlink.
