Air Cairo (SM) added its first of six ATR 72-600 aircraft July 15, 2022, on lease from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC). The airline announced its new equipment is to support the launch of new destinations ‘that were not accessible before.’ Air Cairo expects a total of 16 aircraft – ten Airbus A320neo/ceo and six ATR72-600 (ATR fleet from NAC) to be delivered by the 2022 year-end.
