Air Cairo Expands Network with Tangier and Sharjah
Tangier and Sharjah join Air Cairo's network from October 2023.
Air Cairo (SM) has added Tangier, Morocco and Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates to its network.
The direct flights between Cairo (CAI) and Tangier (TNG) for the Northern winter 2023/24 season will begin on October 29, 2023, the airline announced.
In addition, the new direct Cairo (CAI) – Sharjah (SHJ) route will start in late October, operating four weekly flights.
According to the airline, “due to high demand in the region, Air Cairo is moving to capitalise on the region and meet the escalating demand of its passengers.”
Air Cairo Fleet Expansion
Meanwhile, Air Cairo announced it received its 22nd Airbus A320, SU-BVJ, in September 2023, bringing its fleet count to 31. The carrier aims to grow its fleet to 60 by 2027.
