Air France and Afrijet Expand Interline with Port Harcourt & Bangui

Boosting West and Central Africa connectivity with 2 new routes from February 2025

Afrijet (J7, Gabon) has announced the expansion of its interline agreement with Air France, adding Port Harcourt (Nigeria) and Bangui (Central African Republic) as new destinations via Libreville.

Key Routes and Frequencies

  • Port Harcourt: Weekly flights starting February 26, 2025, increasing to twice weekly from March 30, 2025.
  • Bangui: Twice weekly flights starting March 30, 2025, supplementing Air France’s existing weekly Paris CDG-Bangui flight.

The interline agreement aims to enhance regional and international connectivity, Afrijet outlined, positioning Libreville as a Central African hub.

Customers can book entire journeys on a single Air France ticket, benefiting from through check-in and baggage handling.

According to Afrijet, Air France will provide global marketing support for the new destinations – Port Harcourt and Bangui – and Afrijet’s regional network.
