Air France to Connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle with Kilimanjaro 

3X weekly flights operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft beginning November 18, 2024.

Air France (AF) has announced it will inaugurate a new route from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), as an extension of Zanzibar, starting November 18, 2024.

Frequency and Aircraft

This route will be operated 3 times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays – using Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with 34 seats in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 266 in Economy.

Paris – Zanzibar – Kilimanjaro Flight Schedule

Eastbound (Paris to Kilimanjaro):

  • Flight AF874: Departs Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 10:10 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
  • Arrives in Zanzibar at 9:10 pm and departs for Kilimanjaro at 10:55 pm, arriving on the same day at 11:55 pm.

Westbound (Kilimanjaro to Paris via Zanzibar)

  • Flight AF874 departs Kilimanjaro at 1:25 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
  • Arrives in Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 8:50 am (same day).

Air France’s new Paris – Zanzibar – Kilimanjaro route replaces their previous Paris – Zanzibar – Dar Es Salam route. KLM offers Dar Es Salam access via Amsterdam (6x weekly) and serves Kilimanjaro (4x weekly) and Zanzibar (2x weekly).

Dar Es Salam will still be accessible via Amsterdam, with KLM operating flights 7 times a week, including 5 times a week as an extension of the Kilimanjaro route and 2 times a week as an extension of the Zanzibar route.
