Air Seychelles Granted Permission To Overfly Saudi Arabia Airspace

Air Seychelles (HM) granted permission to overfly Saudi Arabia airspace on flights between Seychelles and Tel Aviv, Israel – the airspace previously restricted with few exemptions. Flight HM21 completed the first flight, accessing the new route on Wednesday, August 03, 2022, between Ben Gurion Airport and Seychelles International Airport.

It was a joy to operate today’s flight which overflew Jordan and Saudi Arabian airspace en route to Seychelles. The Saudi air traffic controllers were extremely helpful and allowed us to navigate with optimal conditions for passenger comfort. -Captain Ronny Morel, Flight HM21, August 03, 2022.
