Air Zimbabwe To Add Aircraft 1Q2023

Air Zimbabwe (UM) expects to add one Embraer ERJ145 aircraft in January 2023 – bringing the total to two ERJ145 jets in its fleet. The government revealed the choice of aircraft type is aimed at fleet commonality to manage maintenance costs. Furthermore, the flag carrier plans to rejoin IATA – following securing funds to pay its outstanding debt.

“The addition of this aircraft will see to the airline’s route expansion programme, which entails increased frequencies on the current schedules.”
