Performance Overview

Airbus reports its full-year 2023 results with 735 commercial aircraft delivered and revenues of €65.4 billion. The EBIT Adjusted stood at €5.8 billion.

Gross commercial aircraft orders totalled 2,319, a significant increase from 1,078 aircraft in 2022. After cancellations, net orders amounted to 2,094 aircraft, up from 820 in 2022. The order backlog stood at 8,598 commercial aircraft at the end of 2023.

Airbus Helicopters registered 393 net orders, well spread across programmes, corresponding to a book-to-bill ratio above 1 both in units and value.

Financial Performance

The company reports consolidated revenues increased by 11% year-on-year to €65.4 billion, up from €58.8 billion in 2022. The delivery of a total of 735 commercial aircraft, including 68 A220s, 571 A320 Family, 32 A330s and 64 A350s, contributed to a 15% increase in revenues generated by Airbus’ commercial aircraft activities.

Airbus Helicopters’ deliveries remained stable at 346 units, with revenues rising by 4%, reflecting the overall performance across programmes and services.
