Airbus has released its Full-Year (FY) 2024 financial results, reporting a 6% revenue increase to €69.2 billion.
The company delivered 766 commercial aircraft, with an EBIT Adjusted of €5.4 billion and a reported EPS of €5.36.
Free cash flow before customer financing reached €4.5 billion, meeting 2024 guidance. “We delivered on our 2024 guidance in what was a testing year for Airbus,” said Guillaume Faury, Airbus Chief Executive Officer.
“We refocused our efforts on key priorities, notably the production ramp-up and the transformation of Defence and Space.
“We continue to pursue profitable growth and our decarbonisation ambition. The 2024 financial results and the level of confidence we have in our future performance support our proposal for an increased dividend.”

Program Updates: A320, A330, A350, A220
Airbus reported that its A320 Family program is on track to reach a monthly production rate of 75 aircraft in 2027.
A330 production is stabilising at around rate 4. The company noted that supply chain constraints, especially with Spirit AeroSystems, are affecting the A350 and A220 ramp-up.
Airbus reported that the A350 is still targeted at rate 12 in 2028, but the freighter’s entry into service is now planned for the second half of 2027. The company is still aiming for rate 14 for the A220 in 2026.
Commercial Aircraft Orders and Backlog
Gross commercial aircraft orders for 2024 totaled 878, with net orders of 826 after cancellations, reports Airbus.
The order backlog reached 8,658 aircraft. “We achieved strong order intake across all businesses in 2024, with a book-to-bill well above 1, confirming the solid demand for our products and services,” stated Airbus.
2025 Outlook
For 2025, Airbus targets:
- Around 820 commercial aircraft deliveries
- Adjusted EBIT of around €7.0 billion
- Free cash flow before customer financing of around €4.5 billion
This guidance, which assumes no further disruptions and excludes new tariffs, includes preliminary estimates for integrating certain Spirit AeroSystems work packages (based on a July 1, 2025 closing assumption), with a broadly neutral impact on adjusted EBIT and a mid-triple-digit negative impact on free cash flow (partially offset by compensation).
