Airlink (4Z) has announced it will add more flights on the Johannesburg-Lilongwe route, starting from December 16, 2023 – enhancing its operations between South Africa and Malawi.

Expanding Footprint in Malawi

In September 2023, Airlink launched services to Lilongwe and Blantyre in Malawi, expanding its route network to 15 countries.

Rodger Foster, CEO and Managing Director of Airlink said:

“In response to popular demand, we will be increasing our frequencies on the Johannesburg-Lilongwe-Johannesburg route to four a week, introducing Saturday flights from mid-December.”

Airlink operates the efficient 37-seat Embraer Regional Jets on its Malawi routes, which will fly daily into the country.
