Algeria and Tunisia Sign MoU to Expand Air Transport Cooperation

Algeria and Tunisia have deepened their aviation cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between their respective civil aviation agencies (Algerian and Tunisian CAAs).
The agreement was part of a broader bilateral meeting held on August 10, 2024, which encompassed transportation, logistics, and meteorology.

The meeting, attended by high-level officials from both countries, including transport ministers, ambassadors, and aviation industry representatives, focused on strengthening ties in the transport sector. A joint work program will be developed to implement the agreed-upon initiatives, as outlined in a statement by the Algerian Ministry.
Algerian Transport Minister Mohamed Al-Habib Zahana expressed Algeria’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations with Tunisia, emphasising the potential for strategic partnership in various fields.
Tunisian Transport Minister Sarah Al-Zafrani Al-Zanzari shared this enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of strengthened cooperation across all transport modes.
