Beond Adds A321 Aircraft

Beond (B4), the world’s first premium leisure airline, announced the lease of a new Airbus A321 aircraft in February 2024.

The new aircraft will operate reconfigured to seat 68 passengers in premium, all-lay-flat seating, featuring Beond’s signature dark grey and copper livery.

This addition joins the existing A319, providing premium travel experiences to the Maldives, as highlighted by Beond.

Beond is expanding to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. New flights from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok to the Maldives will launch mid-2024.

Tech upgrade with Apple Vision Pro

In February 2024, Beond announced an enhanced in-flight entertainment experience. Select passengers on flights to the Maldives will have access to the Apple Vision Pro starting in July 2024.

The premium airline noted that its passengers will also enjoy immersive Maldivian experiences alongside its existing content, in partnership with local operators. This aims to build passenger anticipation for passenger arrival in the Maldives.
