Boeing to Retrofit Interiors for TAAG’s New 787 Deliveries
TAAG and Boeing Partner for Digital Solutions and 787 Interior Upgrades.

TAAG Angola Airlines (DT) and Boeing announced a series of agreements at the recent MRO Africa event recently held in Ethiopia in April 2024.
These agreements aim to enhance the maintenance operations of TAAG’s current fleet with a variety of digital solutions.
One of the key solutions is Boeing’s Airplane Health Management (AHM), which is designed to improve fleet reliability and on-time performance through predictive maintenance analytics.
Another significant solution is Fleet Link, an e-Enabled ground system (e-EGS) that allows airlines to utilise Boeing cloud services to wirelessly retrieve aircraft data after every flight.
Boeing’s Maintenance Performance Toolbox, a single-source document management system, will centralise maintenance data for TAAG’s fleet.

In addition to these digital solutions, Boeing has also announced it will retrofit the interiors for TAAG’s upcoming deliveries of recently ordered 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft.
TAAG CEO, Nelson de Oliveira, emphasised the importance of these developments, stating:
“Incorporating efficient, sophisticated, and customised aircraft is a competitive advantage regarding the sustainability of our operation. The partnership we have with Boeing is indeed a key synergy within TAAG´s transformation journey.”
