The boost aims to support growing bilateral ties, strengthen connectivity with Ethiopia, and provide enhanced access to sub-Saharan Africa.

The new rights under these agreements are available for immediate use by airlines, as announced by Transport Canada.

In a statement, Minister Rodriguez said:

“We’re improving our international air connections to bring more people together and facilitate the movement of goods. Greater frequency and new routes enhance our supply chains and open doors to exciting possibilities for Canadians and Ethiopians.”
