Canada Expands Air Transport Agreement with Ethiopia

Canada boosts weekly flights to Ethiopia from five to seven.

On December 15, 2023, Canada’s Minister of Transport, Pablo Rodriguez, announced expanded air travel with Ethiopia, allowing seven weekly passenger flights for each country, up from five. 

Boosting Air Links with Ethiopia

The boost aims to support growing bilateral ties, strengthen connectivity with Ethiopia, and provide enhanced access to sub-Saharan Africa.

The new rights under these agreements are available for immediate use by airlines, as announced by Transport Canada.
