Dana Air’s AOC Suspended by Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority 

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced the suspension of Dana Air’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC) following a runway excursion incident involving an MD-82 aircraft on April 23, 2024.

According to the statement, the suspension effected April 24, 2024 at 23:59 local time.

Dana Air (9J) also announced on Wednesday via social media platform X:

“We regret to inform you that our operations have been temporarily suspended by the authorities to undergo a safety and financial audit… We are taking all necessary measures to ensure a safe and seamless travel experience upon our return.”
