The airline is also increasing seasonal flights to Accra, Ghana, to cater to “strong demand from U.S.-Africa travellers,” as stated by the carrier.

Atlanta-Ghana Seasonal Service
Delta has further announced the addition of a seasonal daily nonstop service between Atlanta and Accra, Ghana, beginning December 1, 2025, to meet peak winter demand.
This complements its daily year-round service from New York-JFK. Baldoni added, “These routes enhance our network while reinforcing Atlanta’s role as the world’s largest global hub.”
According to Delta, the Airbus A330-900neo, which debuted in late 2024 on the JFK-ACC route, will be deployed on the Atlanta route.

Matteo Curcio, Senior Vice President of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India at Delta, stated, “These new routes open doors for travellers seeking business opportunities, cultural exploration, and meaningful connections.”
Delta noted that it operates nonstop flights to five African destinations year-round and has carried more than 7.5 million customers on these routes.
