Discover Qatar Launches Air Tours for Sightseeing in Doha

Qatar Airways’ destination management company, Discover Qatar, has launched a new sightseeing experience offering aerial tours of Doha’s iconic landmarks.
Tour Details
The “Discover Doha by Air” tour offers a 45-minute journey aboard a Cessna 208 Caravan, a light aircraft with seating up to eight passengers.
The 208 Caravan features headphones for listening to the pilot’s commentary throughout the flight, an conditioned cabin as well as large windows for optimal viewing during the scenic tour, the operator outlined.
Route Highlights
The tour takes off from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal and flies over various landmarks:
- Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone, Education City
- Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, Thakira Mangrove Forest
- The Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village, West Bay
- Corniche, National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, Stadium 97
The “Discover Doha by Air” experience is also available for those with a connecting flight at Hamad International Airport, with a minimum layover of six hours required.
