easyJet Expands Network to West Africa with Cape Verde Flights

easyJet introduces flights to Ilha do Sal operating 2X weekly from Porto and 4X weekly from Lisbon

easyJet (U2) has announced an expansion into West Africa, launching a new route connecting Portugal to the archipelago of Cape Verde.

Starting on October 29, 2024, for the Northern Winter season, the airline is set to provide connections from Lisbon and Porto in Portugal to Ilha do Sal, Cape Verde’s prime leisure destination.

New Route Schedule Details:

According to AeroRoutes, the new schedule is as follows:

  • Lisbon (LIS) – Ilha do Sal (SID): Four weekly flights operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. The frequency will be adjusted to three flights per week, from January 9 to February 11, 2025.
  • Porto (OPO) – Ilha do Sal (SID): Two weekly flights operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Cape Verde, located off the coast of West Africa, is home to ten idyllic islands, each offering unique experiences for leisure travellers.
