The Egypt International Airshow 2024, scheduled for September 3-5 at the new El Alamein International Airport, has appointed EgyptAir as its Official Carrier.

This inaugural event highlights Egypt’s commitment to advancing air transport and the global aerospace industry, as stated by Eng. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman & CEO, Egyptair Holding Company, during the signing ceremony.

The Egypt International Airshow serves as a vital platform connecting industry professionals across diverse sectors – government, military, aviation authorities, space agencies, airlines, manufacturers, and distributors.

Over 250 companies, 50+ aircraft displays, and 20+ country pavilions will showcase cutting-edge technologies, innovative aircraft designs, and the latest commercial aerospace offerings.

Eng. Yehia Zakaria, stated:

Egypt’s Commitment to Aviation Growth

Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Abbas Helmy, highlighted the country’s extensive development plan for its civil aviation sector.

This plan aims to enhance regional and global presence through service expansion, improved airport capacity, increased sustainability, and modernisation of the EgyptAir fleet. 

These strategic initiatives aim to maximise revenue and position Egypt as a leading hub for tourism and investment.

The conference – originally scheduled for September 2 – will now take place alongside the main event from September 3 to 5 on the show floor. This integration aims to maximise engagement and exposure for all participants throughout the event. By unifying the exhibition, conference, and airshow, attendees and exhibitors will experience a cohesive program.
