EgyptAir Appoints Captain Mohamed Alian as Chairman and MD

EgyptAir (MS) announced the appointment of Captain Mohamed Alian as its new Chairman and Managing Director, effective August 2024. 

Captain Alian ascends to this leadership position after previously serving as Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Holding Company.

He succeeds Captain Mohamed Moussa, who expressed gratitude for Captain Moussa’s contributions during his tenure as Chairman. Captain Mohamed Alian has a substantial career within EgyptAir, holding various leadership positions.
