EgyptAir (MS) has relaunched its direct service between Cairo, Egypt, and Lisbon, Portugal, marking the end of a 13-year hiatus.

The inaugural flight touched down at Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport on July 23, 2024, where it was welcomed by a delegation including Egypt’s Ambassador to Portugal, Wael El Naggar, and embassy members, along with representatives from EgyptAir’s Madrid office, the Portuguese Airports Authority, and airport officials.
