EgyptAir Training Academy renewed the approval from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its Airbus flight simulators, in May 2023. The approval covers the Airbus A220-300, A320-200, A330-200, and A340-300 models.

The Academy outlined its renewal of the A320-300 simulator marks the 22nd consecutive year of approval from EASA, while the A220-300 renewal is the only one of its kind in the Middle East and is the latest addition to the fleet. The renewal of the A330-200 simulator is the first since the addition of the Full Stall, Icing & UPRT features to comply with the latest local and international legislation related to Simulators and Pilot Training.
