Embraer revealed on April 24, 2025, that a high-level delegation had visited Morocco to assess the country’s rapidly developing aerospace supply chain.

This follows a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Embraer and the Moroccan government to explore potential joint projects, the company noted.

Opportunities for Collaboration

During the visit, Embraer identified “significant opportunities for business and industrial collaboration,” focusing on sectors like commercial aviation, defense, and urban air mobility.

The company emphasised that both Brazil and Morocco aim to deepen cooperation and enhance bilateral investments in these areas.

Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer, remarked:

Morocco has a fast-growing aerospace industry, and we’ve identified key suppliers with potential to integrate into our global supply chain. We believe there are opportunities for mutual benefits both in the short and long term through innovation and economic growth in both countries.”

Morocco as a Preferred Partner

Embraer highlighted Morocco’s robust aerospace capabilities in aero-structures, machining, sheet metal work, and composites. The company described Morocco as a preferred regional partner for developing a comprehensive supply chain program.

Further collaboration noted could also include training programs, capacity-building for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities, and joint initiatives in research and technology.
