Embraer’s 2025 Market Outlook projects demand for 10,500 new sub-150-seat jets and turboprops by 2044, valued at $680 billion.

Africa is forecast to receive approximately 600 sub-150-seat aircraft (jet and turboprops) out of the total global deliveries, supporting expected annual revenue passenger kilometre (RPK) growth of 4.4%.

Latin America and the Middle East match this growth rate, while China leads at 5.7%, underscoring shifting dynamics in regional fleet strategies.

Demand for regional access will continue to grow,” notes Arjan Meijer, Embraer’s President and CEO of Commercial Aviation, citing the role of mixed fleets in aligning capacity with rising demand and supporting regional development goals across emerging aviation markets.
