Emirates A350 Debuts in Africa with New Tunis Service

Emirates A350 flights to Tunis alongside six other global destinations: Amman, Istanbul, Dammam, Ho Chi Minh City, Baghdad, and Oslo.

Emirates (EK) has revealed the next seven destinations for its Airbus A350 aircraft—including Tunis, marking the continued expansion of its modern fleet.

For the first time, the Emirates A350 will make its debut in Africa with scheduled service to Tunisia starting from June 1, 2025. The airline plans to operate the route six times weekly, excluding Tuesdays, using flight numbers EK 747/748.

Emirates stated that the timeline may shift forward if aircraft delivery occurs ahead of schedule.

Other global destinations now included in the A350 service are Amman, Istanbul, Dammam, Ho Chi Minh City, Baghdad, and Oslo.

Strategic Expansion Across Key Markets

Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim emphasised the strategic significance of the A350 rollout, stating that it demonstrates the aircraft’s flexibility to serve diverse markets, including Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Kazim noted that the expansion “leverages the aircraft’s operational flexibility and efficiency” to introduce enhanced premium travel options across cities, allowing passengers to experience “our latest generation interiors like Business Class and Premium Economy, along with plenty of thoughtful touches throughout every cabin.”

Features of the Emirates A350

The Airbus A350, part of Emirates’ fleet renewal program, features three cabin classes designed for 312 passengers:

  • Business Class: 32 next-generation lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, equipped with wireless charging and mini-bars.
  • Premium Economy: 21 seats offering enhanced comfort.
  • Economy Class: 259 seats with generous legroom.

Additional innovations include electric window blinds, 4K HDR inflight entertainment screens, and 60-watt USB-C charging ports, along with dual Bluetooth connectivity for headphones in Business Class.
