Ethiopian Airlines (ET) and Boeing signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the intent to purchase five (5) new Boeing 777-8 Freighters – to enable the carrier to meet expanding global cargo demand.

The 777-8F will be the world’s largest twin-engine cargo jet with the most payload capacity (maximum structural payload of 118 tonnes) and a 25% improvement in fuel efficiency (range of 4,410 nautical miles), emissions and operating costs.
