Ethiopian Airlines Resumes Flights to Madrid and Bahrain

Ethiopian Airlines to resume services to Madrid and Bahrain in December 2023.

Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has announced the resumption of its services to two destinations – Madrid and Bahrain – in December 2023. The airline suspended international routes, including Madrid, in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Ethiopian Resumes Services to Madrid

Effective December 9, 2023, Ethiopian will resume four weekly flights from Addis Ababa to Madrid via Rome–Fiumicino International Airport. The services will be operated by the Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner.

“The new services will continue to be vital in linking Africa with Spain’s arts and financial center creating critical link to the socio-economic relationships between Madrid and more than 60 African cities where Ethiopian Airlines flies to.”

Return to Bahrain

Ethiopian will resume flights to Bahrain starting December 02, 2023. The airline announced it will offer three weekly flights between Ethiopia and Bahrain, further connecting these two nations.
