Ethiopian Airlines Suspends Flights to Asmara

Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has suspended flights to and from Asmara, Eritrea, effective September 3, 2024.
In a statement, the airline cited “very difficult operating conditions in Eritrea that are beyond its control.”
For impacted passengers, Ethiopian Airlines stated, “…shall do all possible to rebook affected passengers on other airlines at no additional cost. Alternatively, passengers can receive full refund for their tickets.”
