Ethiopian Airlines to Launch Porto Route
ET 4x weekly ADD-POR flights commence July 2025
Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has announced a new route from Addis Ababa to Porto, Portugal, starting July 2, 2025.
The airline will operate four weekly flights with a single stop via Madrid, utilising the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

According to Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, “This new route underscores our commitment to providing our passengers with more travel options and seamless connectivity.”
Addis Ababa-Porto Flight Schedule
- Flight ET740 departs Addis Ababa on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 23:10, Arrives in Madrid at 05:55 the next day.
- Departs Madrid on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 06:55, Arrives in Porto at 07:15
- Flight ET741 departs Porto on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 19:55, Arrives in Madrid at 21:10.
- Departs Madrid at 23:10, Arrives in Addis Ababa at 07:25 the next day
