Codeshare offers expanded connectivity across Africa and beyond.
Etihad Airways and EgyptAir (MS) announced an expansion of their codeshare agreement on August 14, 2024.
This enhanced partnership aims to provide passengers with seamless connections to a wider range of destinations across both airlines’ networks.
“This partnership improves connectivity from Cairo onwards to Africa and beyond Abu Dhabi into Asia, providing travellers with wider choices, more quality services, and increased value,” stated Etihad.
Expanded Destination Reach
The expanded codeshare agreement allows passengers to book flights on a single ticket to over 16 key Egyptair destinations across Africa and the Mediterranean via Cairo. These destinations include Accra, Dar es Salaam, Johannesburg, Nairobi, and Sharm El Sheikh.
In addition, passengers can now book flights from any EGYPTAIR destination via Abu Dhabi to over ten popular destinations in Asia and Australia, including Bali, Bangkok, and Sydney.
