Etihad Airways (EY) has expanded its network by announcing a new nonstop scheduled service between the UAE and El Alamein in Egypt.

Scheduled to begin in July 2025, this route will mark the only nonstop scheduled flight from the UAE to El Alamein (DBB), a gateway to Egypt’s northern coast along the Mediterranean Sea.

Twice-Weekly Service 

The flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, utilising an Airbus A320 family aircraft from Etihad’s fleet.

The aircraft configuration offers 8 seats in Business Class and 150 in Economy Class. Bookings for the new route are now open.

According to Etihad, the new flights will attract tourists eager to explore Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline, while history buffs may be interested in exploring El Alamein’s renowned historical sites and museums.
