Etihad Airways Resumes Direct Flights to Nairobi from December 2024
Daily Abu Dhabi-Nairobi flights start December 15, 2024, boosting East Africa-GCC connectivity.
Etihad Airways (EY) is set to resume direct service to East Africa with four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi on December 15, 2024.
Restoring Non-Stop Commercial Passenger Connections
The airline outlined that this move will re-establish non-stop commercial passenger connections between the two cities. This will provide passengers from Kenya with convenient connections to Etihad flights to the GCC, the US, Europe, India, and South-East Asia.
CEO of Etihad Airways, Antonoaldo Neves, excited about the resumption of flights to Nairobi:
“We are thrilled to be re-starting flights to Nairobi, a dynamic and exciting city in itself and also the gateway to a Kenyan safari, a dream adventure for many travellers, offering a view of the diverse and magnificent wildlife of Africa.”
Etihad Airways will operate these daily flights with Airbus A320, equipped with both Business and Economy cabins. Tickets can be booked on the airline’s website.
