Etihad Airways (EY), the national airline of the UAE, has taken delivery of three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in February. The latest additions to its expanding fleet were welcomed at Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport.

Etihad announced that the new aircraft will commence operations in February 2024. This move is in line with its ambitious roadmap, which envisions the airline flying to 125 destinations with more than 160 aircraft by 2030.

“Their arrival is key to our network expansion strategy and comes at the perfect time as we continue to add multiple new destinations and expand frequencies into key markets.”
