Etihad Opens New Corporate Office in Nairobi

EY expands East African footprint with office in Nairobi’s Global Trade Centre.

Etihad Airways (EY) has opened a new office at Nairobi’s Global Trade Centre (GTC).

This office, managed by Etihad’s General Sales Agent (GSA) ITVAR Travel, was inaugurated on January 22, 2025, by Ahmad Dib, Etihad Airways General Manager Middle East & Africa, and Dr. Joseph Kithitu, KATA Chairman.

Key Highlights

  • Location: Nairobi’s Westlands business district.
  • Flight Services: Direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi, operating four times a week with Airbus A320.
  • Business Growth: Enhances connectivity for Kenyan corporate travelers and supports international business expansion.

Arik De, Etihad Airways Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, stated, “The strong performance of our Nairobi service since its launch last month demonstrates the increasing ties between our two nations.”
