fastjet Launches Harare-Lusaka Flights
Harare-Lusaka flights commence April 9, 2025, operating thrice weekly

fastjet Zimbabwe (FN) has announced the introduction of a scheduled flight service connecting Harare to Lusaka in Zambia, commencing on April 9, 2025.
The new route will operate three times weekly—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—with a 50-seater Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
In a statement, fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana highlighted the airline’s dedication to the region, stating: “This route underscores our commitment to contributing to the economic and social development of the Zim-Zam region.”
Harare – Lusaka Route Schedule
- Flight FN8707 (HRE → LUN): Departs 6:00 AM, Arrives 6:55 AM
- Flight FN8708 (LUN → HRE): Departs 7:25 AM, Arrives 8:20 AM
fastjet Zimbabwe’s Business CEO and Country Head, Donahue Cortes, noted the airline’s continued focus on morning schedules, adding that the Lusaka early morning departure aligns with other sunrise flights to Bulawayo and Johannesburg.
