flydubai Connects Dubai and Mombasa with Direct Flights

flydubai announces launch of direct flights from Dubai to Mombasa starting January 17, 2024.

Dubai-based carrier flydubai (FZ) announced the launch of direct flights to Mombasa, Kenya starting January 17, 2024. The airline will operate four flights per week from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB) to Moi International Airport (MBA).

flydubai Expanding Network in Africa

With the addition of Mombasa, flydubai’s network in Africa now includes 11 destinations in 10 countries. The airline’s other African destinations include Addis Ababa, Alexandria, Asmara, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Hargeisa, Juba, Mogadishu and Zanzibar.

Supporting Trade and Tourism

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said the new flights will support trade and tourism between the UAE and East African markets. “We see a lot of potential in the African markets and we look forward to growing our presence in the continent,” he added.
