Gulf Air Returns to Nairobi After 12-Year Hiatus
Five weekly flights connect Bahrain and Nairobi.

Gulf Air (GK) has resumed flights to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) from Bahrain International Airport (BAH), reinstating a vital air link after over a decade.
The airline operates five weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Sundays, and two flights on Fridays using the Airbus A320neo.
“This strategic route enhances connectivity between Bahrain, East Africa, & beyond,” notes Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) via X (formerly Twitter).
The move adds Nairobi to Gulf Air’s regional network—supporting cross-Gulf ties in trade, travel, and culture.
