Ibom Air (QI) has expanded its fleet with an additional Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

The delivery ceremony occurred on July 11, 2024, at Maastricht Airport in the Netherlands.

Ibom Air outlined this acquisition comes in response to surging demand for its services, exceeding the delivery schedule of their original order for ten A220-300s placed in October 2021 (the first delivered in November 2023).

With the addition of this second A220-300, Ibom Air’s fleet now comprises eleven A220s (with nine more aircraft from the original order expected for delivery in the near future).
