Ibom Air Adds Two Bombardier CRJ 900 Aircraft

Ibom Air (QI) has welcomed two Bombardier CRJ 900 regional jets, registered as 5N-CED and 5N-CEE, expanding its fleet.

The formal reception of the aircraft took place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on November 1, 2024.  Governor Eno praised the acquisition, highlighting its alignment with the state’s “ARISE Agenda,” focused on strategic investments for economic growth.

Ibom Air CEO, Mr. Mfon Udom, stated, “With this addition, Ibom Air now operates a total of nine aircraft, including two Airbus A220-300s and seven CRJ 900s.”

Enhanced Capacity and Connectivity

Ibom Air highlights that these new aircraft will enhance its service offerings by boosting capacity and facilitating improved connectivity and reliability for its passengers. Currently, Ibom Air operates flights to six domestic destinations and regionally to Accra, Ghana.
