Ibom Air Becomes IATA Member

Ibom Airlines Limited joins IATA as a member

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has welcomed its latest members, including Nigeria’s Ibom Airlines Limited. The airline’s IATA code is QI.

According to IATA, in 2023, up to 11 airlines joined the community of IATA members, including South Africa-based FlyCemAir with the IATA Designator 5Z and Airline Code 225.

Ibom Air Receives IOSA Certificate

In April 2023, IATA formally presented Ibom Air with its Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Certificate. The IOSA program is a global industry standard for airline operational safety auditing and is a condition for IATA membership.

On the occasion of receiving IOSA certification, the Chief Operating Officer of Ibom Air, Mr. George Uriesi, remarked:
