Ibom Air Purchases 10 Airbus A220s

Dubai Airshow 2021, November 16 – Ibom Air (QI) has signed a firm order for ten (10) airbus a220s.

The airline stated it seeks to deploy the A220 fleet to support its growth strategy and boost operational efficiency. Airbus’ A220 is the only aircraft purpose-built for the 100-150 seat market.

“The A220 will allow us to increase the number of annual passengers through Akwa Ibom Airport, in Uyo, thus bringing more first-time visitors and business travelers to the region.
