ITA Airways to Launch Rome Fiumicino-Mauritius Flights

ITA Airways (AZ) has announced a new route from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Mauritius (MRU), starting November 7, 2025.

The route, part of the airline’s 2025-2026 Winter schedule, will operate two weekly flights using the Airbus A330neo, catering to business and leisure travellers.

Sandro Pappalardo, Chairman of ITA Airways, stated:
“The airline is entering the 2025 Summer Season stronger than ever, thanks to the integration into the Lufthansa Group.

“Our goal is to continue to expand our network by leveraging synergies within the Lufthansa Group and providing efficient connections and premium services to strengthen commercial, social, and cultural ties between international markets and Italy”. 

Rome Fiumicino-Mauritius Flight Schedule 

• Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Mauritius (MRU): Fridays and Sundays, 10:00 PM (local time) departure, 11:20 AM (local time) arrival.
• Mauritius (MRU) to Rome Fiumicino (FCO): Saturdays and Mondays, 10:10 PM (local time) departure, 6:40 AM (local time) arrival.
