Agreement targets regional aviation efficiencies across East Africa

Kenya Airways (KQ) and Air Tanzania (TC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 28, 2025, in Dar Es Salaam, outlining joint efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and improve connectivity.

The MoU covers collaboration in human resource training, engineering, aircraft maintenance, cargo operations, MRO, safety, and innovation, with both airlines committing to sustainable, cost-effective growth.

CEO Peter Ulanga of Air Tanzania, remarked that the agreement “marks a significant milestone in our efforts to expand our regional presence and better serve the growing demand for air travel in Africa.”
