Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines Renew Codeshare
Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines strengthen ties with renewed codeshare agreement.
SkyTeam Alliance members, Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines (VN) have renewed their codeshare agreement, offering expanded flexibility and choice for passengers travelling via Bangkok and Nairobi.
This news coincides with the recent resumption of Kenya Airways’ flights to Southeast Asia.
The renewed partnership allows passengers to book single-ticket itineraries for their entire journey, including flights operated by both Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines.
This aims to simplify the travel experience, with baggage allowance and check-through available to the final destination.
Expanded Connectivity, Benefits
Customers travelling to Vietnam can now connect to Hanoi and Saigon via Kenya Airways’ services in Bangkok, and continue their journey on Vietnam Airlines.
Furthermore, frequent flyers can earn miles on both airlines, while Elite Plus travellers can benefit from SkyPriority services.
Kenya Airways commenced flights to Bangkok, Thailand (BKK) on November 21, 2023, offering a thrice-weekly service with their B787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
