Maldivian (Q4) has commenced its seasonal service connecting Shenzhen, China, and Malé via Bangkok, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.

The inaugural flight arrived in the Maldives on July 9, 2025 with over 95% load factor, reported the airline, further outlining that the service complements existing non-stop A330 widebody flights to Beijing (PEK), Shanghai (PVG), and Chengdu (TFU), and responds to rising demand from southern China.
