Maldivian (Q2) has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330 aircraft at Velana International Airport, in the Maldives on January 06, 2025.
The arrival ceremony for Maldivian’s first Airbus A330 gathered distinguished guests, aviation professionals, and dedicated team members in the Maldives.
Maldivian highlighted, “Today marks a new chapter as our first Airbus A330 joins our fleet, expanding our capabilities and connecting the Maldives to new horizons.”

The A330 widebody, featuring a three-class configuration in business, premium economy, and economy, enhances Maldivian’s international network, including new routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Xi’an.
