Nigeria Secures Slot at Heathrow for Air Peace Operations

Air Peace direct flights to London Heathrow to commence in late 2025.

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, confirmed on June 21, 2025, that Air Peace (P4) has secured a slot at Heathrow Airport for direct Lagos-London Heathrow (LHR) flights.

This development follows extensive diplomatic efforts under the Bilateral Air Services Agreement, according to the minister, enhancing Nigeria’s connectivity to the UK.

Keyamo noted, “We are committed to offering similar support to all our local operators… whilst we support their businesses to grow, we hold them to the highest standards in terms of delivering quality services to the flying public.”

Air Peace previously launched its inaugural flight between Lagos to London Gatwick (LGW) on March 30, 2024. The airline has yet to confirm updates regarding the transfer of operations to Heathrow.
